UFUMAJOSAN RICE FARM AND MILL BOOST ANAMBRA LOCAL CONSUMPTION

Anambra State Rice production received boost with the commissioning of JOSAN Integrated Rice Farms and Mills located at Enugwuabo, Ufuma in Orumba North local government area of the state. It is expected to add 90 metric tonnes of rice to the existing 250 metric tonnes currently being produced in the state.

Following the encouragement of the Anambra State government, the state had become investors’ destination for rice production with the result that the popular Anambra Rice has become a household name in the country.

Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State, at the commissioning ceremony, boasted that agriculture, one of his administration’s cardinal programmes, had made great impact within three years of his administration. He recalled that at the time he assumed office on March 17, 2014, Anambra was producing 80 metric tonnes of rice annually, but is producing 250 metric tonnes. He said that since JOSAN would be producing 90 metric tonnes, the state’s 300 metric tonnes annual consumption requirement would be surpassed by 40 metric tones this year. Obiano said that when the chairman of JOSAN Rice Farms and Mills, Chief Oliver Okeke indicated interest in investing in rice production, he did not take him serious until he passed through all the processes required by the Anambra State Investment Promotion and Production Agency, ANSIPA, which led to the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding, MOU, with his company.

Chairman of ANSIPPA, Igwe Enweze of Umuoji described JOSAN as the largest integrated rice farm in the South East, adding that the company will be producing rice all year round with irrigation from a nearby river. Igwe Enweze said the state’s share in the project is 10 percent, while the investors have 90 percent. Three percent of the profit would go the host community for corporate social responsibility. He also said that the project has already created 130 direct and 410 indirect jobs, while 7000 direct and 10000 indirect jobs would be available when it is fully completed. According to him, the farm is developing 15 hectares of irrigated rice farm, with 331 rice farmers and 2000 out growers of riceworking there on daily basis.

What Governor Obiano has been doing in agriculture has made the state very visible in Nigeria’s agricultural sector,” the royal father said. Chairman of JOSAN, Mr. Oliver Okeke said he was happy to have heeded the call to invest in agriculture, especially as it is touching on the lives of many people in the society. He said: “We are excited that we will now be engaging and investing in the rural areas of Nigeria, bringing them development and creating jobs. For us, this business is much more than just about making money. It is a business where we see ourselves touching the lives of people in the rural areas, empowering them, bringing food to Nigerians and still creating value by strategic value chain investments.” He recalled that when there was a problem of power for the investment, the governor promised that the power would not just be for the company as an agriculture processor, but would be extended to the two local government areas of Orumba North and Orumba South which had remained without electricity for years, noting that the availability of power supply was one of his greatest joys.

For the power supply in both Orumba North and South according to our fellow up report we can tell you that about one month now Governor Obiano commission  Electricity project that colect power from Orji River the two Local Goernments has been having constant power supply...Stay tune for our next report.......

According to him, “let me remind you that we are going through the difficult period in Igbo land. As Ndigbo, we are going through trying period, we are being provoked everyday by the government of this country in the way they treat our people, especially the marginalization going on at the federal level by the federal government.

“We are also aware of the contributions of our people towards the development of this country. The Nigeria Movie Industry, which one of the major exports we have, Igbo’s pioneered that industry; in sports, Igbo’s are all over the world doing the country proud. When you see Nigeria national team playing, 80 percent most times are Igbos and we are happy to do that”.

Sen. Ekweremadu who said that Ndigbo were more Nigerian than any tribe, disclosed that in all remote villages in Kano, Kaduna, Maiduguri and everywhere, “you will see Igbos who are patent medical dealers, you will see Igbos selling plastic, you will see Igbos providing jobs not only to their people but to the rest of Nigeria.”
He said Ndigbo had done so much to the country and deserved some respect, stressing that until “we get our respect, Nigeria will never be the same.

GOODLUCK HANDED OVER NIGERIA TO BUHARI WITH $574BILLION GDP ECONOMY

“So, any person who thinks that Igbos will be relegated and there will be peace in this country is joking. We believe in equity, we believe in justice.

Goodluck Handed Nigeria Over to Buhari As The African Largest Economy With A $574 Billion GDP

Nigeria Formal President Goodluck Jonathan has said that he handed over a Nigeria with the largest economy in Africa, though he met the nation the second when he ascended the office of the president following the death of President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua..but what were seeing now....

goodluck-buhari
Goodluck Handing Over To Buhari

Jonathan spoke in New Jersey, United States, on Saturday, April 23, 2016, to Friends of Africa Coalition at the Mayor’s Office on issues dwelling on strengthening democracy and elections in Africa.
According to the Nigerian Monitor, Jonathan said the richest man in Africa, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, was the 5th richest man in 2009 but he handed over a nation that produced the richest man in Africa by 2015.
Dr. Jonathan, who also spoke on issues bordering on the 2015 general elections in Nigeria and the economy of the country, said the outcome of the 2015 polls would have been ridden with crisis if he was not a president elected by the will of the people of Nigeria.
“the campaigns leading to the elections almost polarized the country into Christian versus Muslims and North versus South divide. Most world leaders were worried that our elections will result into major crisis. Some pundits even from here in the United States said that those elections would spell the end of Nigeria and that we would cease to exist as a nation because of the polls. Quot By Dr Jonathan Goodluck Formal President

That is where the leadership question comes into play. As a leader that was duly elected by the people, I considered the people’s interest first. How do I manage my people to avoid killings and destruction of properties? With the interest of the people propelling all the decisions I took, we were able to sail through.
“Indeed, we sail through because I refused to interfere with the independence of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, having appointed a man I had never met in my life to run it. My philosophy was simple. For elections to be credible, I as a leader, must value the process more than the product of the process. And the citizens must have confidence in the electoral body.
“This rule of the law of process ensured that Nigeria’s peace, prosperity and progress was not derailed by the conduct and results of the 2015 elections and I am proud to say that while I took over a Nigeria that was the second largest economy in Africa with a GDP of $270.5 billion in 2009, I handed over a Nigeria that had grown to become the largest economy in Africa and the 24th largest economy in the world with a GDP of $574 billion.”
He said he inherited a Nigeria in which the trains were not working, and handed over a Nigeria in which citizens can safely travel by trains again, adding that “I inherited a Nigeria that was a net importer of cement, and handed over a Nigeria that is a net exporter of cement. In 2009 the richest Nigerian was the 5th richest man in Africa, but I handed over a Nigeria that produced the richest man in Africa.
“These are but a few of the parameters that illustrate some of the economic transformations we engineered during my term in office. This was made possible by the fact that there was a stable political leadership in Nigeria that did not have to pander to any other constituency except the electorate who brought me to power. And these actions have a contagious effect.”.....
So my question to our dear President is What is happening to our economy...........we are falling apart on all angle ,Angola has overtaken us from been African number one Oil producer 'What is happening my fellow Nigerians?  Let me here from you if you have solutions for us.....Please don't forget to share to your friends.........

NIGERIA HAS BEEN DISGRACED BY ANGOLA

Oh my father Land Nigeria has again lost its value as Africa’s top oil producer status to Angola, as the country’s crude oil production fell by 67,000 barrels per day last month. Our almighty Nigeria is going down every day by day,why our president is only traveling from one country to another...hahaha.which way "NIGERIA' Our currency is going down every day ,only eye of the nation our oil is now going down too,' I ask again which way Nigeria?

OPEC, in its Monthly Oil Market Report for April, which was released on Wednesday, put crude oil production from Nigeria at 1.677 million bpd in March based on direct communication, down from 1.744 million bpd in February.
Nigeria recorded the biggest drop in output in the month among its peers in OPEC, followed by Venezuela, based on direct communication.
Exports and production of Nigeria’s popular crude grade Forcados continued to be shut in due to a sabotage-related spill on the subsea Forcados pipeline.  The country has recently seen a rise in militant attacks in its main oil-producing region, the Niger Delta, denting oil production.
The country’s production figure for March was put at 1.722 million bpd by secondary sources, compared to 1.762 million bpd the previous month.

According to secondary sources, total OPEC crude oil production in March averaged
32.25 million bpd, a marginal increase of 15, 000 bpd over the previous month.
The 13-member oil cartel, said in the report, “Crude oil output increased mostly from Iran, Iraq and Angola, while production decreased in UAE, Libya and Nigeria.”
Angola saw its oil output rise to 1.782 million bpd last month from 1.767 million bpd in February, based on direct communication, according to the OPEC report.
The southern African country had in November 2015 overtaken Nigeria in output level as it produced 1.722 million bpd, compared to 1.607 million bpd produced by Nigeria, OPEC’s December report showed.
According to the latest monthly report, OPEC believes crude supply outside the producer group is set to fall more than expected, with weaker Chinese, Colombian, UK and US oil output eclipsing better outlooks for Canada, Norway, Oman and Russia.
The outlook for non-OPEC supply has been hit largely by lower expectations for crude oil production from China’s onshore mature fields.
OPEC also cited the postponement of major new projects due to reduced cash flow as the impact of lower prices takes its toll.

It now sees output falling by 730,000 bpd over the year, up from a previous estimate of 700,000 bpd, to average 56.39 million bpd in 2016.
OPEC also partly attributed the 20 per cent surge in oil futures in March to weaker non-OPEC supply in 2016, supply disruptions in Iraq and Nigeria, signs US shale is shrinking, along with expectations of a supply intervention plan by major crude exporters in Doha on April 17.

6 THINGS WOMEN DO THAT TURNS MEN OFF IN BED ROOM

Certain things turn men off completely in the bedroom. As much as we may want to deny it,Most women think men don’t consider things and would want to sleep with them irrespective of their habits........

man-and-wife
Man And Wife

This is a misconception as men of this age are more rational and wouldn’t jeopardize their safety for a few minutes between a woman’s legs.
Women assume that all men want is a warm hole to plunge into, every man wants a memorable encounter. Men want moments they could relish on lonely nights. This being said, there are certain things women do in the bedroom that makes men lose the will to get physical. Men get turned off or go limp when they notice these things. Sometimes, it could be the words uttered by these women or something on their bodies.

The things that could turn men off Sexually vary from man to man. Find below some of those things that could cost a man his erections light off.

1. Oozing smell
Depending on the personal hygiene level of the men involved, most men get turned off when they discover the vagina emits some strong odor. A strong smelling vagina indicates something is wrong. The woman might have been infected with diseases and could put a man at risk of contracting it. Sex isn’t pleasant when the man can’t breathe in air without sucking in the offensive smell oozing from the woman’s body. It would be suicidal to give oral Sex’ a shot in that situation.

2. When she calls another man’s name in ecstasy
In a healthy relationship where the people involved are presumed to be in love, calling out another man’s name while making love would be annoying. Men love to be in charge when it comes to bedroom affairs. Having a woman moan and call out another person’s name not only makes them boil in rage, it also takes away the desire to make love to them.

3. Complaints during Sex
Most men love it when the women give them positive feedbacks while having Sex. They expect the women to scream in pleasure, wrap their legs around them, cling to them and moan with satisfaction. They basically love it when the women exhibit a level of dependency while they are making love to them. Whining and pining over pains, discomfort and not being satisfied turn men off.

4. Being set up
This is strictly for men who are players. Ladies, while trying to get even with a player could set him up with other girls. This move is basically aimed at embarrassing the man. Upon seeing the other girls, he may want to find an escape and lose his erections in the process.

5. Intense handling
While men love their dicks to be straddled and fondled, intense touching could take off the sensations and replace with pain and later make them go limp. When the men are touched wrongly or in a place they don’t like, their moods could get switched and make their erections go down.

6. Attention
Any man could lose his erections over being ignored. Men are like babies; and in the bedroom they want to be touched and attended to every minute. When the ladies transfer the attention they ought to get to innate objects, they get pissed and the urge to have Sex’ at that moment may be killed.
